What Manus says each Cue agent gets
- Its own email address, phone number, wallet and computer.
- It can take your calls and leave a summary, and pay within a budget you set.
- Several agents can share a group chat and hand work to each other, while you make the final call.
Which one should you use?
- You are in the US and want something you can sign up for today: Meta Muse.
- You want an agent that acts under its own email and phone number, or pays for things within a budget: Cue, if you can get an invite.
- You are outside the US: Meta Muse is not available to you yet, so Cue is the one to try.
- You need to know the long-term price before you commit: Meta Muse, since Manus has not priced Cue beyond early access.
The Meta and Manus backstory
Meta announced in December 2025 that it was buying Manus. China ordered the deal scrapped on April 27, 2026, investors bought the shares back from Meta, and Manus is independent again. Meta launched Muse in September, and Manus answered with Cue three weeks later.

Yes. Both are personal AI agents that act for you, launched in September 2026, and the press covered Cue as Manus's answer to Muse.
Which is cheaper, Cue or Meta Muse?
Right now Cue is free with an invite code. Meta Muse is free to start with paid plans at $20 and $100 a month. Manus has not said what Cue will cost after early access.
Can I use Meta Muse outside the US?
Not yet. Meta launched Muse in the US only.
Does Meta own Manus?
No. The acquisition was blocked by China on April 27, 2026 and unwound, and Manus runs independently again.
