What's new in Manus 2.0
Manus 2.0 launched on September 28, 2026. It is a rebuilt Manus: a new engine underneath, a desktop studio for creative work, and a separate app, Cue, for personal agents.

Cascade: the new engine
Manus compared Cascade with its previous system on one tested configuration:

Automations that react to events
Before 2.0, recurring work in Manus meant scheduled tasks. Automations can now also start when something happens, for example:
- A new email arrives
- Ad performance changes
- A calendar event comes up
- A Slack message is posted
- A Notion page is updated
Manus 2.0 pricing
- Cloud Computer is sold separately. The launch post does not list its price.
- Cue is free during early access with an invite code.
Where Cue fits
Cue runs on the same infrastructure as Manus but is its own app. Manus is where you hand over a task; Cue is where persistent agents live, each with its own identity.
